I came across this great touring tandem story.
A family having a fabulous Australian adventure on Thorn tandems.

Update. Great Thorn Tandem story. Impressive family enjoying a fabulous tour.

Lovely link, Ian. Fluorescent passive safety, and teaching them active safety young. (Give me your child until he is 7, and I'll give you back a safe cyclist for the rest of his life -- which Pope said that?)

That'll be a Jesuit for sure Andre. My mate is from the old country and he's a Jesuit. Well he's not but the guilt he projects is something to witness!
I'm sure the Swag children are being enriched beyond any expecation by their cycle tour. Treasured moments being created for future reference, even out in W.A. goldfields.

Best advert for bomb proof Thorn Tandems, allegedly.

In the photo sent by Ian, above, is that curve in front of the cyclist's face a bug screen, or a screen to break up the UV? In either case a useful accessory in Oz.

A mozzy net, Andre. Useful also for keeping bull dust out of your mouth etc.
