Title: SJS Plated Aluminium Fixed Sprockets
Post by: Fixedwheelfiend on January 08, 2004, 10:55:13 pm
Has anyone used these sprockets in hard use ie Hill Climbs or tough Audax events ? Has anyone bent or stripped one and how many miles can you expect them to last.  I have one but only for light duties so far however I must say it runs beautifully smooth.

Hard anodised aluminium has a very good wear characteristic.
They are not as hard as top of the range steel sprockets, but lots better than the likes of the Cyclo stuff (IMO [;)])

Think of this though - look at the available sizes of the alloy sprockets! You can have any gear you want (nearly)
