Thanks Anto, pretty grim weather here in Yorkshire at present, will get out again when the weather eases . . . . not that I'm soft, but  . . . .

My daughter in law was knocked off her bike about 3 weeks ago, riding home in foul and dark weather, guy pulled out in front of her from a side road.  She broke her clavicle, some facial injuries, but is on the mend.  I'm making sure that everyone in the family gets a blinkie light for Christmas, it's difficult to know what to do for the best, she was lit, hi vis jacket, etc., but I believe in blinkies.

So yes, Anto, stay safe.

Best wishes for Christmas everybody.

Come all ye merry gentlemen
and lady cyclists too,
it's the season of misery
only in this hemisphere.

Down under they ride merrily
in well-deserved sunshine,
so you might say
the glass is still
half full,
and our turn
will surely come,
so celebrate!

God rest ye merry Gentlemen
Don’t yet break out the sherry
The forecast here in Derbyshire is yet set to be merry
The sun will shine on Monday and we shall get out and ride
Before we have the grandkids here
And and have to stay inside.

Have a good one

Best wishes to all for Christmas and the coming year -- sent from the depths of downtown Toronto, where we have "English weather", damp, light rain, and 5 degrees. Tomorrow we take the train back to the Ottawa Valley, land of reduced snow after a day's rain :(  but at least sunny, cold and clear.

Cyclists everywhere in Tronna, including our daughter on her splendid late '70's Sekine, refreshed this past spring.  In Ottawa?--not so much, see above re: sunny, cold (-13 & windchill at night) and clear.

Safe journeys all, and keep the shiny side up :)
