I have done a couple of test rides with the SQLab 602 Ergolux Active Saddle. Not very impressed. It is reputed to be a medium to long distance touring saddle but I found it to be very uncomfortable and the suspension was leg sapping.

Best saddles I've ever bought & ridden are the Selle Royal Lookin series.
I've tried various Brooks and a few others including a two pronged monstrosity but the rather cheap SR wins bums down !
I have a couple of B67's spare now. Oh and the two pronged monstrosity as well.

i was having major problems with saddles,when my son raced in Belgium he bought me the Fizik Alanti TI and Carbon rails under the seat is also carbon very expensive but the best saddle on the planet still years later its as good as the day he bought it for me.
i found the Brooks B17 special way to heavy for my liking and a pain in the arse once it got wet. ::)

Thing are very good but could benefit from a little warmer weather. I find as I get older the clothing seems to be not quite as good at keeping me warm. Or is it just my age? ;) Keeping the mileage going managed to do 538 in January bearing in mind we take time out to do our anniversary theatre week in London, it is an okay start to the year.
How about you? Any chance you may be up for that Scottish tour?

my back is not much better to be honest and now i have a new feckin pain my right upper arm 2 months now slowly falling apart .
i reckon Alan i'll be sticking to the lanes of Co Louth and meath day rides ,if i win the lottery tonight i'll be hitting the sun this winter weather is driving my crazy.

The Thorn saddle is quite comfortable. I swapped mine for a Selle Royal which lasted about 15,000 miles over two bikes, but my son-in-law inherited the Thorn. My new C17 feels more comfortable than the Selle, but early days, only about 200 miles on it.

It is an ISM PR3. I read all the blurb and believed it, so bought one but after a few rides decided it wasn't for me.
It's doing nothing in my bike shed but taking up room along with the Brooks and a couple of others I tried.

I tried an ISM Adamo, like you I didn't get on with it. For touring for the last couple of years I have been using a Selle Italia Man Gel Flow. Not the most comfortable but very close. I do have a B17 on my winter bike but cannot get on with Brooks for long distances.
