This is going to be welded onto a Rohloff hub, or some other wheel/hub?
-
The plan is to use the worn donor sprocket for the threads.- then mount 2 new sprockets from an existing 7 sp. free-wheel. I have looked for cassettes with the correct size of teeth on the samee cassette- but only found out11 speed are expensive and less durable. I have also found 7 speed free wheel with the ramps to assist shifting. It will be more durable.
No welding will take place with in range of the Rolhlly hub!!
Does any one have any experience with the durability Zenith free-wheel?

No hurry. It's just sitting in a box. I am in BC, in a suburb of Vancouver

I have tried to PM you was it successful? On a side, if only I knew that in August, I stayed in Maple Ridge on the Fraser River... Hind sight is a wonderful thing! I miss Golden Ears park.

Ron, how brilliant is that??!! Good on yer, lad. I will have a used and sorta-worn 17T available in a couple of years' time, but there you have one right here and now, sitting in your box of leftover bits, just waiting for a good home, and -- voilá!
