Title: What size mudguards (fenders) Mercury with Ora fork
Post by: alcyst on October 07, 2015, 10:03:35 pm
My Mercury came with SKS Chromo Plastic, not sure of the model. They were always a good fit for a 700x28 and are 3cm wide.
This evening I put on a pair of 700x32 (Specialized All Condition). Roads in Dublin are good-to-shocking and I was very impressed after trying these on a cyclocross bike.
The SKS Chromo-plastic were rubbing in many places. With the mudguards off clearance is not an issue. What do I now order, or will the Chromo Plastic work if I make the right adjustments?

I was just reading the Mega Brochure and see on p78 that "We’ve a special version [of SKS] made especially for our bikes" and the SKS P45 would be the correct size. Looks like I need to get my hands on a set of same.

Response from Thorn is that the "special version" wont fit on my fork, but Chromo-Plastics they do have should do the trick.
